At the time of the attack, there were young conscripts and contract soldiers on the ship. There are conscripts among the dead. This was reported to ASTRA by one of the sailors who served on the Novocherkassk in Feodosia, UNN reports.
Meanwhile, posts of mourning for the victims appear on the social networks of the ship's employees. "We remember and grieve. The crew of warriors... I still believe in the best..." reads one such post.
Earlier, ASTRA wrote that at the time of the attack on the night of December 26, there were 77 sailors on the large amphibious assault ship Novocherkassk.
According to the latest data, 33 of them are missing, 19 are wounded. A 64-year-old port security officer was killed in the attack, and 4 other civilians were wounded.
The ASTRA source claims that there may be more missing persons.
