Currently, there are no road blockages in Kyiv region, however, road accidents have been reported in Boryspil, Bila Tserkva and Obukhiv districts. Since 7:00, the entry and movement of heavy vehicles to Kyiv has been restricted. All passenger routes are open.

Forecasters predict that weather conditions will worsen today. In particular, snow cover will increase to 30 cm, up to 50 cm in the southern and eastern districts of the region, winds up to 25 m/s, blizzards, snow drifts, and ice on the roads.

In Kyiv region, as of 9 a.m. Monday, 44 overhead lines and 1,033 transformer substations were cut off due to strong winds and snowfall . Medical facilities are operating in normal mode. Alternative sources of power have been prepared in case of a power outage.
