According to the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, the occupiers killed at least 60 people in Crimea. This is reported on the Center's Facebook page, UNN reports.

During the occupation of Crimea, 60 deaths have been recorded on the peninsula, 28 of whom were representatives of the Crimean Tatar people

Among those killed were 4 victims of political repression (3 of them were Crimean Tatars), 13 victims of discrimination (11 were Crimean Tatars), 30 victims of terror (8 were Crimean Tatars) and 13 victims of police brutality (6 were Crimean Tatars).

Since the occupation of Crimea by the russian federation, disappearances, abductions and killings have become a regular practice. The kremlin-controlled Crimean authorities only give the appearance of investigating these cases, despite the fact that according to UN General Assembly Resolution A/RES/71/205, russia is named an occupying power and is responsible for human rights on this territory

The Crimean Tatar Resource Center condemned the arrests, detentions, abductions and killings of people used in Crimea as a means of pressure and intimidation of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people and pro-Ukrainian activists.
