The earthquake with a magnitude of 7.6 occurred in Ishikawa Prefecture in the central part of Honshu Island, Japan.
According to reports, the meteorological agency said the epicenter of the quake was located in the Noto region of Ishikawa Prefecture, with a depth of about 10 kilometers deep.
