The Ministry of Defense has created an interagency working group that will study problematic issues in the construction of military engineering and fortifications and respond to them in a timely manner. The decision was made at a meeting between Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and Minister of of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, UNN reports with reference to the the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

It is noted that the body for for the construction of fortifications will work 24/7 on the principle of "operational headquarters."
The working group will coordinate the efforts of all military authorities, central and local executive authorities on the construction of military engineering and fortifications to ensure that the work in this area is systematic.
The group plans to implement a reform to define areas of responsibility: on the first line of defense defense, the construction of fortifications is carried out by military units, on the on the second or third line of defense - the State Agency for the Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine through the involvement of private contractors
To implement new approaches, the government will propose approaches, the government will be asked to approve a new effective model for the construction of fortifications.
It is also reported that a volunteer business community has already been created under the interagency working group, which expressed its readiness to provide patronage assistance in the construction of fortifications in the most "hot" areas.
