According to the head of the National Police, Ivan Vyhivskyi, before the full-scale Russian invasion, an average of 4,500 police units were on duty per day, now there are about 7,000 units, which is about 21,000 police officers.
Vyhivskyi noted that all police units will be redeployed and brought closer to the places where holiday trees and religious events will be held.
The head of the National Police also emphasized the ban on fireworks and salutes.
