A suspect in the brutal murder of a military officer was detained in Kyiv. The offender stabbed the soldier 15 times and then hid his lifeless body in a sleeping bag. in a sleeping bag and threw it into a pond. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv police, according to UNN.

The report of the man's disappearance was received by the Kyiv police on the eve of the incident. It is known that the serviceman was supposed to go to the hospital in his own car, but on the way lost contact with him on the way. So he put the body in a sleeping bag, wrapped it in plastic wrap, and drove it out of town in his car and threw it into a pond. Law enforcement officers conducted a detailed examination of the crime scene, worked out the victim's movements step by step and identified the attacker. It was a 31-year-old resident of Vinnytsia region, who is also accused of committing a robbery of two women in Vinnytsia region.
The attacker was was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and and placed in a temporary detention center. Investigators served the suspect a notice of suspicion of committing a crime. The suspect may face up to fifteen years in prison.
