President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will not join a secret briefing in the US Senate, which was supposed to discuss additional aid for Kyiv. This was stated by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, quoted by CNN journalist Manu Raju, UNN reports.
"Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said that Ukrainian President Zelenskiy was no longer going to attend the secret briefing because of a last-minute issue," Manu Raju reported.
According to lawmakers, Zelenskiy also failed to appear virtually at a briefing in the House of Representatives on Ukraine.

Senate Democratic Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said that the US government has invited Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to address senators via video link at a closed-door briefing on Tuesday. The topic will be the allocation of money for additional assistance to Kyiv.
