Ukraine is nearing the final stage in the adoption of the law on national minorities according to EU requirements, Minister of the Cabinet of ministers Oleg Nemchinov said on Thursday in a telethon, writes UNN.
If we say where we are now, then on November 23, the final consultations were held with the participation of the Prime Minister. and following consultations on November 23, the government voted on the bill. and this bill was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada. In other words, we are now waiting for the consideration of this draft law
the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that the bill is awaiting consideration in the Committees of the Verkhovna Rada, where it has already been sent, and then - submission to the session hall and voting.
Nemchinov added that this law was based on the best European practices, in particular, Romanian and Hungarian legislation.
