It is noted that patients who are difficult to treat, or even simply impossible due to constant attacks and damaged infrastructure, are transported to EU clinics for treatment and/or rehabilitation. At the same time, as indicated, medical evacuation for patients and further treatment abroad is free of charge.
Each case of evacuation is individual, and evacuation is individual and is considered separately. The algorithm is as follows: THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH of Ukraine submits a request for evacuation and receives offers from different member states of the European Union and the European Economic Area regarding their readiness to accept patients and provide them with the necessary treatment. International partners in cooperation with the emergency medical service of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine provide transportation of patients from the hospital in the frontline area through the Lviv medical hub to the airfield in Poland, and then air hospitals are involved. air hospitals.
