The Ministry of Finance reported on the financing of social payments in the first half of 2024 "in full," UNN writes.

"The Ministry of Finance, together with the Government of Ukraine, financed social payments in the first half of 2024 on time and in full," the Ministry of Finance said.
As indicated, UAH 221.1 billion was allocated from the state budget for these expenditures, in particular:
- UAH 136.9 billion - to finance the payment of pensions, allowances and increases to pensions granted under pension programs, and the deficit of the Pension Fund;
- UAH 38.5 billion for social protection of citizens in difficult life circumstances, in particular, for the payment of: more than 450 thousand people with disabilities since childhood and children with disabilities; more than 1 million families of internally displaced persons;
- UAH 7.7 billion to support low-income families, including payments to more than 170 thousand recipients of assistance to low-income families;
- UAH 24.4 billion - provision of benefits and housing subsidies to citizens, including payments to: more than 3.2 million households receiving benefits and housing subsidies;
- 11.8 billion UAH - for social protection of children and families, in particular, for the payment of: almost 9 thousand recipients of maternity benefits; almost 600 thousand people for childbirth benefits; almost 2 thousand people for child adoption benefits; almost 60 thousand recipients of child benefits for single mothers.
- UAH 1.8 billion for social protection of people with disabilities.
