On the night of March 20 and this morning, the Russian military fired 16 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region. 65 explosions were recorded.  This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Wednesday, UNN reports

Details

Yunakivska, Miropilska, Krasnopilska, Velykopysarivska, Novoslobidska and Esmanska communities were subjected to hostile attacks.

Krasnopilska community: the enemy fired from a mortar (3 explosions) and a grenade launcher (14 explosions).

Velykopysarivska community: artillery shelling  (5 explosions), mortar shelling (4 explosions), and air strikes by the CAB (15 explosions).

Myropilska community: artillery shelling was recorded (31 explosions).

Esman community: there was a shelling with small arms and a mortar (2 explosions).

Novoslobidska community: Russians attacked with artillery (4 explosions).

Yunakivska community: an explosive ordnance was dropped from a UAV (1 explosion).

According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, from the beginning of this March and until March 19, Russian aircraft dropped almost 200 guided bombs on the communities of Sumy region alone.
