Russian troops attacked the border of Chernihiv region with drones, mortars and artillery yesterday, 40 explosions were recorded, and a house was destroyed, the operational command "North" reported on Thursday, UNN reports.

Reportedly, hostile shelling of 4 communities was recorded in Chernihiv region:
- Semenivka community: Prohres - 7 explosions, possibly 122 mm artillery. Leonivka - 3 explosions, possibly from a 120-mm mortar; 1 explosion, possibly from an aerial drone. The shelling destroyed a private house. Lubyane - 8 explosions, probably a 120-mm mortar.
- Snovska community: Khrinivka - 14 explosions, probably from a 120-mm mortar.
- Horodnyanska community: Senkivka - 2 explosions, possibly by an UAV; 2 explosions, possibly by a UAV dropping explosive ordnance; 2 explosions, possibly by a 120-mm mortar.
- Novhorod-Siverska community: Buchky - 1 explosion, probably a 120-mm mortar.
A total of 33 attacks (138 explosions) from various types of weapons were reported during the day in the border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
