There will be no vacations or breaks in the work of the Verkhovna Rada until the end of martial law, said MP, member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Fedir Venislavsky, reports UNN.

Details

According to Venislavsky, the Verkhovna Rada has decided to work in a single plenary session since February 24, 2022.

"That is, there are no vacations, no holidays for MPs of Ukraine. There are provisions of the Constitution that require closing and opening the session. No vacations or breaks or holidays are foreseen in the work of the Verkhovna Rada until the legal regime of martial law is over," Venislavsky said.

He added that by the end of the year, MPs plan to adopt the necessary legislative changes concerning, among other things, security and defense, European integration and the fight against corruption.

As a reminder,

the Verkhovna Rada plans to pass the bills necessary for EU accession before the decision to start accession negotiations is announced.
