The Army+ app has launched a function of transferring from a unit, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov said on Facebook on Friday, UNN reports.
Details
"As of today, the Army+ app has launched the function of submitting a report to change the place of service! Now, members of the Armed Forces can quickly and without unnecessary bureaucracy submit an application for transfer to another unit," the minister wrote.
According to him, the process is extremely convenient and takes only about 15 minutes.
What you need to know:-
- To submit a report, you will need a military ID card or officer's certificate and a letter of recommendation from the unit to which the serviceman plans to transfer. Additionally, a conclusion of a military medical examination board may be required for transfers due to health reasons
- Commander's consent, as well as the Army ID of the commander, is not required to submit a report - the request is automatically sent to the Personnel Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where it will be reviewed within 72 hours
- In some cases, the Personnel Center directly addresses military unit commanders for approval. In particular, to transfer between rear units or between combat brigades. Approval is also required if the serviceman is an officer or holds an officer position
- In case of refusal to join Army+, clear reasons must be given. For example, transfers are prohibited for soldiers who have served in their unit for less than 6 months or less than a year has passed since the previous transfer at the initiative of the soldier. As Umerov noted, all grounds for refusal are clearly defined in government decree No. 1291.
According to him, the service was created to simplify the transfer process and was made possible through the cooperation of the Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces and public organizations.
