During today's visit to Dubai, U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken met with his Arab counterparts. They discussed not only the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, but also the necessary actions after the conflict ends. This was reported by The Times of Israel, according to UNN.
How do we think about what is happening in Gaza itself? How is it regulated? Where does security come from? How do we begin to rebuild? And most importantly, how do we get on the road to a just and lasting peace? For us, this should lead to the creation of a state for the Palestinians
"A lot of this requires hard work, tough decisions, commitments that different countries will have to make," he continues, presumably referring to U.S. expectations that Arab allies will have to help manage Gaza's security until the Palestinian Authority is ready to take over.
To recap,
Yesterday, Anthony Blinken arrived in Israel and met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
