Belarusian dictator Alyaksandr Lukashenka has called nonsense the claims that Russia could attack NATO. He said this when answering a question from journalists, UNN reports with reference to BelTA.
"This is stupidity. This is a bad person, simply. He (European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, who suggested a possible Russian attack on NATO - ed.) has nothing to do with politics. If he was smart, he would have thought like this, in a businesslike way: God willing, we and Russia will deal with these problems. Are we going to layer new problems on top of these problems? Anyone would think so," Lukashenko said.
"Do we need a new war today? We need to deal with this one (in Ukraine - ed.). Especially now, when the situation is favorable. And not only for us. But also for them, so as not to lose Ukraine. That's how I understand it," the Belarusian leader added.
