According to the information, Lithuania is providing equipment from Vilnius CHP-3 to Ukraine to restore the damaged energy infrastructure caused by the war. This step is part of the humanitarian aid from Ignitis Gamyba aimed at supporting Ukraine in emergency conditions.
According to the information, the transferred equipment, although not in operation since 2015, is fully functional and capable of immediate use.
In total, more than 300 pieces of critical equipment, including turbines and generators, have been shipped to Ukraine. This equipment is said to meet the needs of the Ukrainian energy system and help restore the country's vital infrastructure.
Ignite Energy plans to continue to support Ukraine in several phases, ensuring the delivery of critical equipment before the country's electricity demand increases.
