The waiting time for truck drivers to leave Poland across the border with Ukraine at the Dorohusk checkpoint, opposite the Ukrainian checkpoint Yahodyn, has increased to more than 30 days, RMF24 reports, UNN writes.

According to the Tax and Customs Administration in Lublin, the reason for this is the intensification of the protest by carriers who let one vehicle through every three hours.
As indicated, there are 1,500 trucks in line to leave Poland for Ukraine through the Dorohusk checkpoint.
"The estimated waiting time - taking into account the current passage of vehicles by carriers - is more than a month," the tax and customs administration said.
Normally, the waiting time for this number of vehicles to clear customs in Dorohusk would be approximately 68 hours, according to the administration. The queue of trucks is approximately 40 km long and reaches the town of Marinin in the Siedlice Commune.
In Hrebenne, 950 cars are waiting in line for customs clearance, meaning they have been waiting for 12 days. As explained in by the tax and customs administration, under normal circumstances this would be about 80 hours.
