The Russian Federation has not abandoned massive missile strikes, and it is likely that the pause could be associated with a crucial stage for the aggressor against the backdrop of the presidential "elections." This was stated by the head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine Natalia Humenyuk during a telethon on Monday, UNN reports.

Details

"We are closely monitoring the activity of strategic aviation, including that of the Ukrainian military. We understand that to some extent the pause is due to the fact that there is no A-50 aircraft in the air, no gunner, let's say, no intelligence center. We understand that they have a certain imbalance in that their previous operations were not very active, not very effective. Taking into account the air strike that the Ukrainian Defense Forces organized against the Russian aviation, this is also a very dangerous operation for the next time. But nevertheless, they have not given up on massive missile strikes, because this is the main advantage they have and the main victories they are pushing to their dictator," said Humenyuk.

According to her, the situation needs to be monitored.

"And to take into account that every warning of danger can be very active enemy aircraft. It may also involve missile launchers from the sea, because they are there, they are equipped. But tomorrow it will be four weeks since they have not been on duty. And it is likely that such a pause can be justified by the completion of this crucial stage for them. And further intensification of aggression and terror," she said in response to a question about whether a massive strike could be launched after the "elections" in Russia.
