The information about heavy metal poisoning of Marianna, the wife of Ukrainian intelligence chief Kirill Budanov, is true. She is currently undergoing a course of treatment, which is nearing completion. This was stated by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Andriy Yusov in a commentary to Radio Liberty, reports UNN.
According to him, the information published by the media today is true.

Media outlets citing sources in law enforcement agencies reported that the wife of the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov, Marianna was poisoned with heavy metals.
Earlier, in an interview with Radio Liberty, Budanov said that his wife lives with him in his office, although she does not work for the DIU. Since June 2021, she has been working as an advisor to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
