Another Canadian province recognizes the Holodomor as genocide of Ukrainians

The Canadian province of Prince Edward Island has recognized the Holodomor as genocide of the Ukrainian people.  The bill was adopted at a meeting of the General Assembly of the Province of Prince Edward Island, UNN reports.

In addition, the bill introduces the commemoration of the Holodomor victims. This was reported by Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada Yulia Kovaliv on Facebook.

The Canadian province of Prince Edward Island has passed a law on commemorating the Holodomor victims

Kovaliv reminded that the Parliament of Canada had recognized the Holodomor as a genocide of the Ukrainian people in 2008. as a genocide of the Ukrainian people.
