Ukraine withdraws from another CIS agreement

The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to withdraw from the agreement on the creation of an interstate system of documentary encrypted communication of the CIS. This was reported by the government's representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, on Telegram, UNN reports.

Details

"Ukraine has withdrawn from the agreement on the creation of an interstate system of documentary encrypted communication of the Commonwealth of Independent States, signed on October 18, 1996, in Moscow," Melnychuk said.

The agreement provides for the use of information technologies, software and information security tools, including subscriber encryption of production on the basis of bilateral or multilateral agreements of the participating states in the interstate system of information technologies.

Recall

Ukraine intends to withdraw from another CIS agreement - on indirect taxes on trade between the Commonwealth member states, the government has approved the relevant draft law.
