According to the Office of the Prosecutor General , on December 29, 2023, the Russian armed forces launched an air attack with various types of missiles on Ukraine and the capital. The air alert lasted 2 hours and 42 minutes.
Debris was recorded falling in Darnytskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Podilskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts of the capital. Civilian objects, warehouses, a subway station building, and local residents' cars were damaged.
