The State Logistics Operator has announced tenders for the first time to to meet the needs of the Armed Forces. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense, UNN reports.

"The Defense Procurement Agency (State Logistics Operator) has announced the first tender for the purchase of fuel and lubricants. It is reported that the procurement will be held under a competitive procedure in the the Prozorro electronic system.
Bidding is announced for of the following lots:
Gasoline
- A-95-Euro5-E5 (1700 tons, expected cost 82,790,000.00)
- A-92-Euro5-E5 (2580 tons, expected cost 122,550,000.00)
- A-80-Euro3 (15402.4 tons, expected value 714,671,360.00)
Diesel and jet fuel:
- DP-Arc-Euro5-B0 (73867 tons, expected value 3,471,749,000.00)
- RT/TC-1/JET A-1 (15890 tons, expected value 754,775,000.00)
The expected date of the auction for all lots is January 2. The procurement the agency carries out procurement for the budget of 2024. It was adopted on November 9.

From now on, procurement for the Armed Forces will be carried out by two state-owned enterprises. The first is the Defense Procurement Agency, and the second is the Defense Procurement Agency, and the second is the Defense Procurement Agency. At the same time, the Ministry of Defense will only will only formulate procurement policy and exercise control. It is expected that the new procurement principle will help to avoid corruption risks.
