In Romania, a bus with passengers traveling from Italy to Moldova has crashed and overturned due to snowfall and wind. 16 people were injured, NewsMaker reports, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova, UNN writes.

It is noted that the accident occurred in Vaslui County. Due to snowfall and wind, the bus driver lost control and skidded. At the time of the accident, there were 38 Moldovan citizens and one foreigner on the bus.
Sixteen people were injured in the accident, all Moldovan citizens. According to the Moldovan Foreign Ministry, the victims sustained minor injuries, but were taken to the nearest hospital to receive appropriate assistance
The rest of the passengers were sent to Chisinau by another bus provided by the carrier.
