Kyiv's Pechersk District Court has extended the preventive measure against MP Nestor Shufrych, who was notified of being suspected of treason, lawyer Oleksandr Tananakin told Suspilne, UNN reports .

The court extended the detention of MP Shufrych for another two months. The MP will stay in the pre-trial detention center until February 9. According to his lawyer Oleksandr Tananakin, the defense is preparing an appeal.
As a reminder
On September 15, the SBU reported that MP Nestor Shufrych was suspected of treason.
On the same day, during searches at MP Nestor Shufrych's home, SBU officers found a document with a scheme of autonomy for Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
On November 10, the court remanded Shufrych in custody until December 15.
