Land Forces of Ukraine. Almost 600 thousand soldiers of various branches of the armed forces. Brave. Heroic. Powerful. Many of them have received state awards. Many will always be remembered by their comrades-in-arms for their strength and help in battle. Our people are grateful to many of them for the liberation of our land, cities and villages, for the opportunity to be proud of the power of the Ukrainian army. We remember many of them today when we honor Ukrainian heroes who gave their lives for the sake of our country and people
The President thanked every soldier, every sergeant, every commander for the strength they give to our country.
