U.S. aid from the $61 billion package has begun to flow to Ukraine, but it is not yet enough to fully equip the army and staff the required number of brigades, according to President Zelensky.

Aid from the $61 billion military package approved by the United States has already begun to arrive in Ukraine, but so far this aid is not enough to fill the army and staff the appropriate number of brigades. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, UNN reports.

The vote in Congress was very important. Some things have already started to arrive, but I won't say what exactly. Unfortunately, there is not enough to fill our army and staff the appropriate number of brigades

- Zelensky said.

The President also spoke about the importance of signing security agreements with partners.

As for the documents on security guarantees, they really helped us a lot. Especially at a time when we were expecting support from the United States. These packages helped us. I think you understand the cost of air defense (...). The systems or parts for the relevant systems have been supplied over the past six months thanks to the funding provided by nine security assurance agreements

- Zelenskyy added.
