Ukrainian drones attacked a military airfield in Kushchevskaya, Krasnodar Krai, Russia, damaging aircraft and oil refineries in the region.
Drones attacked a military airfield in Kushchevskaya, Krasnodar Territory, Russia. Aircrafts were damaged. This was reported by the Baza and ASTRA telegram channels, UNN reported.
Ukrainian drones attempted to attack several oil refineries in the Krasnodar Territory (including KNGK-INPZ and Slavyansk ECO), as well as a military airfield located near the village of Kushchevskaya.
Details
It is reported that the drone attack on Krasnodar Krai began around three in the morning and lasted an hour and a half. The first drones attempted to attack the airfield. In total, more than 10 UAVs were sent toward the airfield. According to preliminary reports, there were no fatalities or injuries.
Around four o'clock in the morning, about 17 drones attacked an oil refinery near Illinske. The attack damaged the AT-1 unit. A fire broke out and was extinguished in half an hour. Another 12 drones attacked an oil refinery in Sloviansk-on-Kuban. A distillation column was damaged. The fire was quickly extinguished.
ASTRA published an alleged video of the aftermath of a UAV attack on a military airfield in Kushchevskaya, Krasnodar Territory.
The authenticity of the video has not yet been confirmed.
Earlier, ASTRA's sources in the region's emergency services confirmed that the attack on the military airfield in Kushchivska damaged aircraft, and the number and extent of the damage is being established.
