Russian troops shelled about 15 settlements in Kharkiv region, causing casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure, but no attacks on Kharkiv itself were recorded over the past day.

No attacks by Russian troops were recorded in Kharkiv over the past day, the enemy fired at the region with missiles, rockets and MLRS, there are victims, said Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv RMA, on Friday, UNN reports.

At the same time, he said, about 15 settlements in Kharkiv region were subjected to artillery and mortar attacks by the enemy: Sinkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane and others. Udy, Liptsi, Male Vesele, Pletenivka, Okhrimivka, Vodyane, Borova were subjected to aerial attacks. In particular:

  • 17.25 Borova village of Izium district. A house was damaged as a result of hostile shelling from an MLRS. 
  • 17:05 Izium district, town Balakliya. The rocket attack damaged the windows and the roof of the railway station building, the suburban electric train Kharkiv-Izyum, which was 15 meters away from the arrival point, and the tracks. 7 civilian men and 4 women were injured. 
  • 12:00 Kharkiv district, village Hlyboke. As a result of the drop of 3 unexploded ordnance on the territory of a garden association, 4 private houses and adjacent buildings were damaged. 
  • April 25, 10:30 the village of Novooosynove of Kupyansk district. A house and an outbuilding were damaged as a result of hostile shelling with MLRS. Two women of 73 and 60 years old were injured.

"In the last day in the Kupyansk sector the enemy attacked our positions 10 times in the area of Berestove and Kyslivka," said Syniehubov.
