Concorde's shareholders propose that the Deposit Guarantee Fund pay off 72 people - creditors of the 9th priority, including pensioners, military personnel on the front line, and students - and quickly complete the bank's liquidation process.

The shareholders of Concord Bank, which is in liquidation, have called on the Deposit Guarantee Fund to speed up the process, for which the DGF plans to spend UAH 50 million in the next six months alone. They promise to transfer the funds that will remain in the event of a faster liquidation to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported on her Facebook page by co-owner of JSC "JSCB "Concord" Olena Sosedka , who is included in the ranking of the 50 most influential women in FinTech as a co-founder of the first Ukrainian fintech ecosystem ConCord Fsintech Solutions, reports UNN.

We, as shareholders of Concord Bank, propose that the Deposit Guarantee Fund pay off 72 people - creditors of the 9th priority, including pensioners, military personnel on the front line, and students - and quickly complete the liquidation of our bank. For our part, we guarantee that the remaining UAH 50 million allocated for liquidation will be donated to the military in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, for example, to Wings of the Magyars. This will definitely be a better use of them than enrichment of individual representatives of the Fund

- wrote Sosedka

According to her, the Deposit Guarantee Fund plans to spend UAH 50 million over the next six months to liquidate Concorde, which is more than UAH 8 million per month.

"The Fund takes the money from our bank, so it is clear that they are not interested in a quick liquidation of Concorde," Sosedka said.

She also added that another confirmation that the Fund's management wants to profit from others is that they do not sell the currency held in the bank's correspondent account and government bonds.

Sosiedka said that over the 17 years of its operation, Concorde has paid almost UAH 36.2 million in mandatory quarterly contributions to the Fund, as it was successful and profitable before the NBU's decision to revoke its license.

If the Fund's management had wanted to close banks quickly and complete the liquidation process transparently, it would have taken several months, not years

- Sosedka emphasized.

The Deposit Guarantee Fund delays payments to creditors of the 9th line of the register of accepted claims of creditors of Concord Bank, including the charity exchange DobroDiy.

The situation is on the verge of good and evil. In December, the Foundation announced the start of settlements with the creditors of the 9th stage, including our charity exchange. We were to receive about 495 thousand hryvnias more. However, payments were suspended almost immediately. We have many charitable projects, urgent projects, and any delay in helping them will cost lives. For example, our help is needed in hospitals in Dnipro, where wounded Ukrainian soldiers are being saved, civilians affected by Russian shelling are being taken there, and children's lives are being saved there. Therefore, it is very important to help them as quickly as possible

- Lolita Kuzina, head of the Exchange, told UNN.

According to her, DobroDiy helps the military on the front line directly, covering their immediate needs, and also helps children fight  diseases.

"We definitely have something to spend the money on. Instead, the Foundation keeps it for itself and makes money on it. It is inconceivable that in a country at war, some officials may not give volunteers their own money," Kuzina added.

Recall

UNN found out that last year, Svitlana Rekrut , Managing Director of the DGF, spent more than 100 days abroad or traveling back and forth, which is almost half of all working days of the year. In 2022, her trips totaled more than 80 days. It is noteworthy that according to Svitlana Rekrut's declaration , in 2022 she received compensation from the DGF for excessive travel expenses in the amount of over UAH 65 thousand.

It turned out that for traveling abroad, the managing director of the DGF used, among other things, cars belonging to JSC Megabank, which is being liquidated by the Deposit Guarantee Fund since 2022. In response to a journalist's request about Svitlana Rekrut's trips abroad, the Fund reported that Rekrut had appealed to law enforcement agencies regarding the editorial office of UNN news agency .

Later, the Foundation reported that Recruit used Megabank cars to allegedly save money and accused journalists of harassment instead of giving adequate answers to inquiries.
