Polish farmers continue to block truck traffic at five checkpoints on the border with Poland, causing queues of nearly 1,000 trucks.

Polish farmers continue to block truck traffic at five checkpoints. Border crossing rates at these locations are almost zero. In total, there are almost 1000 trucks in queues in Poland. This was announced on Tuesday by the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko, during a telethon, UNN reports.

Details

As before, Polish farmers continue to operate in 5 areas: "Yahodyn, Ustyluh, Uhryniv, Rava-Ruska, and Shehyni. In fact, on these 5 routes, they either impede the movement of trucks or do not allow trucks to pass at all in some areas. In particular, trucks are not able to cross the border from Ukraine to Poland at all through the Yahodyn and Rava-Ruska checkpoints. There have been zero border crossings here in recent days. And we can practically say that they also do not let them cross in the direction of the Shehyni checkpoint

- Demchenko said.

He noted that only 4 trucks crossed the border yesterday, but before that the numbers were at zero.

"Also, a rather small number of trucks are allowed to cross into Ukraine by Polish farmers in the direction of the Shehyni checkpoint. Over the past day, about 25 trucks were able to cross into Ukraine. And 75 trucks were allowed to cross from Poland to Ukraine at the Yahodyn checkpoint," added Demchenko.

The spokesperson also said that there are about 900 trucks in total in queues at 5 destinations in Poland.

Recall

Yesterday, the media reported that about a hundred tractors were blocking the border with Germany in the direction of Berlin at two checkpoints - in Svietsko and Hubinka.
