The Consulate General of Slovakia in St. Petersburg will close on December 31, 2024. After the closure, consular services for Russian citizens will be provided only at the Slovak embassy in Moscow.

The Slovak government has decided to close the Consulate General of the Slovak Republic in the Russian city of St. Petersburg at the end of the year. This is stated on the website of the diplomatic mission, writes UNN.

Details

The activity of the Consulate General of Slovakia in St. Petersburg will be suspended from December 31, 2024. From the beginning of next year, the agency will no longer provide its services to citizens of the Russian Federation.

At the same time, it is noted that Russian citizens can continue to apply for visas, residence permits or signature verification, translations and certification of photocopies and copies of documents at the Slovak embassy in Moscow.
